If you’re a veteran of ROCKNPOD weekend or checking us out for the first time, we thought it would be a good idea to give you an idea of what to expect from this annual celebration of rock and podcasting.
WHERE?
Unlike previous years, ROCKNPOD weekend will be taking place in a central location! Both our Friday night preparty concert and Saturday ROCKNPOD Expo will take place at the Nashville Airport Marriott. This hotel has played host to several top conventions in the Nashville area for many years. Fully renovated in 2016, Nashville Airport Marriott is a stunning venue that boasts beautiful hotel rooms, a great pool deck, Champions Bar and Lounge, and several great ballrooms and meeting rooms that we will be using. WHEN?
ROCKNPOD weekend begins on Friday August 9th. For Gold level-plus registered podcasters there will be a networking mixer late Friday afternoon. Details for this will be announced at a later date.
The ROCKNPOD Preparty will take place Friday night in the beautiful Cumberland Ballroom. This ballroom is nearly 8000 square feet and boasts full professional staging and A/V capability. Who will be on stage? We’re working on booking artists now. If it’s anything like our first 2 preparties, you’re going to be in for a treat!
The ROCKNPOD Expo will also take place in the Cumberland Ballroom on Saturday August 10th. The expo, as in previous years, will feature on-stage panel discussions with some of your favorite rock musicians and personalities. Also, numerous rock podcasters from all over North America will be on-site recording content live as well as on stage! Additionally, several vendors will be on-hand selling the best in rock vinyl, merchandise, and memorabilia. Other features of the ROCKNPOD Expo will include live raffles, a ROCKNPOD museum (featuring stage played gear and more), and signing and photo sessions with rock celebrities!
