GREG RENOFF AUTHOR EXTRAORDINAIRE RETURNS TO ROCKNPOD EXPO

We’re excited to announce that author Greg Renoff will be joining us for the ROCKNPOD Expo!

Greg Renoff was born in the Bronx, New York, and grew up in New Jersey. Renoff earned his Ph.D. in American history from Brandeis University and is the author of Van Halen Rising: How a Southern California Backyard Party Band Saved Heavy Metal and the authorized autobiography of a Grammy-winning record producer, Ted Templeman: A Platinum Producer’s Life in Music. 

In addition, his writing has appeared in LA Weekly, the Los Angeles Times, Vulture, Guitar World, Los Angeles Magazine, Noisey, Ultimate Classic Rock and his work has been covered by Spin, Salon, Maxim, Rolling Stone, Oklahoma Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, the Associated Press, The Tulsa World, and The Boston Herald. As a commentator, he’s appeared on Los Angeles Times Today, CTV’s Your Morning, XM’s Canada Talks, Debatable with Alan Light and Mark Goodman, The Eddie Trunk Show, and numerous other radio shows and podcasts, including Rolling Stone Music Now’s tribute episode to the late Eddie Van Halen. He lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
