Pamela Des Barres, like the Summer of Love and the Sunset Strip, was born in California. She fell in love with rock ’n’ roll as a little girl in sunny Reseda, swooning along to the dreamy sounds of Elvis and Dion spinning on her turntable. While she was in high school, Pamela’s friend Victor Hayden introduced her to his cousin, the psychedelic pioneer Captain Beefheart, and her odds of living a normal-formal life were obliterated. Mark Goodman has been a music fanatic since seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan as a kid. He started in radio in his hometown of Philadelphia at WMMR. In 1978 he became music director of the station. Leaving WMMR in 1980 Goodman became a part of the air staff at WPLJ, the number one rock station in New York.  It was 1981 when Mark left WPLJ to join the as yet unknown music video channel called MTV. As one of the 5 original VJs Mark interviewed everyone from Paul McCartney to Sting to Bruce Springsteen. Matt Pinfield is a well-respected TV and radio host and music historian and celebrates 36 years in professional radio and 28 years on television. He was the host of numerous MTV programs including the influential alternative show 120 Minutes. Lea Vendetta is a tattoo artist who was featured in season one of Paramount Network’s ‘Ink Master’. Lea was born in Paris, France, and is an internationally award-winning tattoo artist. Vendetta has been painting professionally since the early 1990s and has been tattooing since 1996. Her work often pays tribute to Paris and her love of the art deco style.  Her paintings have been exhibited in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami and her tattoo work has been featured in tattoo magazines both nationally and internationally. Riki’s history in rock music and media is very well-known. Growing up in California, Riki was deeply entrenched in the burgeoning Hollywood rock scene of the ’80s. In 1986 he, along with partner Taime Downe of Faster Pussycat, opened The Cathouse. What was once a run-down disco quickly became the center of activity for the rock world. Regular clientele for The Cathouse included members of Motley Crue, Aerosmith, and Guns n’ Roses among many others. Riki’s friendship with Axl Rose would lead him to New York to take over hosting duties for The Headbangers Ball.
