ROCKNPOD VOLUNTEER POLICIES & INFORMATION
ROCKNPOD Volunteers are an incredibly important part of our events. There are many moving parts to ROCKNPOD weekend and it takes an awesome, dedicated team to pull it off.
So, WHY should you be a ROCKNPOD Volunteer?
As a ROCKNPOD Volunteer, you’ll not only help our events run smoothly, you’ll have a memorable, fun experience as well. You’ll make new friends, become part of our community and grow with us.
Please read the policies below and click the button at the bottom to apply to join the team!
As a ROCKNPOD volunteer you will receive free admission, event swag, food, and more in exchange for your time. You’ll also have free admission to the ROCKNPOD preparty concert taking place Friday August 9th in the Cumberland Ballroom. Additionally, you’ll receive a collectable lanyard, lunch and shanks, and (1) free photo or autograph with a celebrity guest (as determined by ROCKNPOD management).
Most ROCKNPOD volunteers will participate in registration and line control. Some will assist with Autograph and Photo Op areas, podcaster assistance, panel discussions, green room services, and escorting celebrities. We understand that certain positions are more desirable than others, but all are incredibly import in representing ROCKNPOD and it’s mission to create a memorable, unique rock experience for all involved. While we will do everything possible to accommodate your desired position, your flexibility is appreciated in meeting our needs.
All ROCKNPOD Volunteers will be issued a Staff T-Shirt to wear while on duty. It’s required to wear this shirt as it will make it easier for those we service to find you if help is needed.
ROCKNPOD has a zero tolerance policy for rudeness or unprofessionalism. If this policy is violated you will be asked to leave and banned from future events. Our volunteers are expected to be courteous at all times. Under no circumstances will you approach any celebrity guest asking for photos or autographs. Our guests are important to us and deserve to have a safe and professional environment.
While in duty, if you are approached with any special requests or questions you don’t know the answer to, please contact the volunteer coordinator or management immediately. Do not make promises that we can’t keep.
It is imperative that you stay in your assigned station while on duty. You’ve been assigned your duty for a reason and if you vacate your position, it can cause a domino effect that can negatively affect the flow of the event. If you need a break, please contact your volunteer coordinator immediately and we will arrange someone to relieve you until you return. Do not trade positions with another volunteer without the expressed consent of your volunteer coordinator.
As a ROCKNPOD Volunteer you are representing us. As such, any information you become aware of in regard to the expo, it’s procedures or staff is confidential. It may not be discussed, posted on social media, emailed or made public.
